Maja Salvador is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first child with her husband, businessman Rambo Nunez, expressing their readiness to embrace the blessing that could come at any moment.
During the recent ABS-CBN Ball, comedian Ogie Diaz asked the actress about her plans to add to their family. Salvador’s response was shared by Diaz in a vlog on his YouTube channel on Tuesday, October 3.
“Kung kailan ibigay,” Salvador replied, with her husband by her side. “Kasi I’m turning 35 this year…. 20 years na akong yumuyugyog nang yumuyugyog, sayaw dito, sayaw do’n, acting.”
(When [God] wills to give us. Because I’m turning 35 this year. I have been dancing and acting for the past 20 years.)
Salvador emphasized that she has been prioritizing her work for a long time and that she would be delighted if she and her husband are blessed with a child soon.
“Ang tagal namin nagtrabaho ng para sa amin, sa future. So this time, pwede na ibigay anytime. We’re ready,” she added. (We have worked hard for ourselves and for our future. So this time, [God] can give us [a baby] anytime. We’re ready.)
Salvador and Nunez, who have been in a relationship since 2019, got married twice: first in a civil ceremony in February and second in Bali, Indonesia, in July. /ra
