The New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman recently mentioned the possibility that former Fox News personality Tucker Carlson could be in consideration to become Donald Trump’s running mate. The journalist’s comments were made during a podcast interview with The Dispatch’s Jamie Weinstein. According to Haberman, discussions about Tucker Carlson’s potential candidacy are at least being entertained and are not without some basis. She went on to express concerns about the impact Carlson’s star power could have on Trump’s administration. Trump himself had earlier admitted to considering Carlson for the role.
