Luke Combs to Perform his Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour at Paycor Stadium in August 2024

“We have an amazing opportunity to perform two shows in various U.S. cities on the World Tour. However, I wanted to take it a step further for the 2024 tour and give each show its own unique experience. This means different openers and a distinct setlist for each night. My goal is to provide fans with the chance to attend both nights and witness two completely different shows,” said the artist.

The artist, being a devoted fan of Country music’s diverse range, plans to incorporate acts leaning into Outlaw, Americana, and Red Dirt for the Friday night shows. They will also have a separate night featuring artists they have previously toured with, who are more contemporary country. “I am incredibly excited to have these talented groups join me on the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour!” the artist further added.

The 2024 tour dates follow the artist’s successful World Tour, which extends until this fall and includes upcoming sold-out shows in Australia and Europe. This tour sets a record for a country artist with 44 shows across 3 continents and 16 countries.

Adding to an already triumphant year, the artist’s rendition of Tracy Chapman’s Grammy-winning song, “Fast Car,” has maintained its position at #1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for five consecutive weeks. This marks their 16th consecutive #1 single at country radio, an incredible accomplishment. “Fast Car” has also been certified 2x Platinum, with over 435 million global streams and currently sitting at #1 on the Hot AC chart and #2 on Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 chart. Notably, “Fast Car” is the first song by a male solo artist to top both the Hot AC and Country Airplay charts.

Furthermore, the artist recently received 22 new RIAA certifications, including Platinum and Gold certifications for their albums “This One’s For You,” “What You See Is What You Get,” “Growin’ Up,” and “Gettin’ Old,” as well as multiple Platinum certifications for their hit songs like “Hurricane,” “When It Rains It Pours,” and “She Got The Best Of Me.” With these certifications, the artist’s success continues to soar.

The artist is currently celebrating the release of their new album, “Gettin’ Old,” which complements their acclaimed 2022 record, “Growin’ Up.” Both albums have received critical acclaim, with The New York Times describing them as a country-rooted sound that appeals to a wide pop audience. Billboard praises the artist’s electrifying-yet-earthy voice, highlighting their current phase in life as a husband, father, and entertainer at their peak. American Songwriter declares that the artist has reached rock star status. “Gettin’ Old” is their fourth full-length album, following the success of “Growin’ Up,” “What You See is What You Get,” and “This One’s For You,” and was produced by the artist along with Chip Matthews and Jonathan Singleton.

As a Grand Ole Opry member and a recipient of numerous awards including 8x CMA, 3x ACM, and 3x Billboard Music Awards, the artist has partnered with Opry Entertainment Group to open a monumental multi-level entertainment complex in downtown Nashville, set to open in the summer of 2024.
