June 16 (UPI) — Little Mix member Leigh-Anne Pinnock has officially made her solo debut with the release of her single and music video for “Don’t Say Love.” The 31-year-old singer shared her solo project on Friday, showcasing her talent and unique style.
“Don’t Say Love” is a powerful anthem that explores themes of self-validation and reclaiming one’s confidence in a world where she often felt misunderstood and unheard, as Pinnock revealed in an interview with Billboard.
The accompanying music video for the song serves as a visual representation of Pinnock finding her voice and expressing herself authentically.
Pinnock took to Instagram to celebrate the release of “Don’t Say Love,” emphasizing the strength, resilience, and power behind the song. She expressed her pride in finally being able to share it with the world and hinted at more exciting projects to come.
Having risen to fame as a member of the British girl group Little Mix alongside Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, Pinnock’s solo venture marks a new chapter in her musical career.
In December 2021, Little Mix announced that they would be taking a break as a group after their successful Confetti tour in 2022. The members expressed their gratitude for the incredible 10-year journey they had embarked on and stated their intention to recharge and pursue individual projects.
