Lebanon, Pennsylvania Shooting Results in Two People Being Charged

In a tragic incident in eastern Pennsylvania, two young boys and an adult male were killed when shots were fired at a home. According to authorities, the violence occurred due to a previous altercation, which triggered the deadly assault. Alex Torres Santos, 22, and a 16-year-old boy have been charged with three counts of criminal homicide, aggravated assault, conspiracy and weapons offences in relation to the shooting in Lebanon. A third suspect is still on the loose. It appears that Joshua Lugo-Perez, 19, was the intended target, while Sebastian Perez-Salome, 9, and Jesus Perez-Salome, 8, were playing with kittens in the backyard. The suspects could potentially face the death penalty, the district attorney has said. The situation is a tragic reminder of the need for society to address the issue of senseless violence.
