Fox News has reached a settlement in another lawsuit, this time involving a former producer of Tucker Carlson’s primetime show.

The network, owned by Fox Corp., has agreed to pay $12 million to settle the lawsuit filed by Abby Grossberg. Grossberg claimed that she was coerced into providing false testimony in the defamation case against Dominion Voting Systems.

In a statement, Grossberg said, “While I continue to stand by my publicly filed claims and allegations, I am heartened by Fox News taking my legal claims seriously. I hope that this settlement represents a positive step by the network in its treatment of women and minorities.”

Earlier this year, Grossberg had filed lawsuits against Fox in New York and Delaware, alleging discrimination and retaliation. She had previously been terminated by the network.

Grossberg had worked with Tucker Carlson and Maria Bartiromo at Fox and accused the network’s lawyers of pressuring and intimidating her to give misleading testimony in the Dominion lawsuit.

In April, Fox agreed to pay $787.5 million to Dominion to settle the defamation lawsuit over false claims about Dominion’s voting machines influencing the 2020 presidential election.

Grossberg had stated that she would have willingly testified on behalf of Dominion if the trial had taken place.

A Fox representative said, “We are pleased to have resolved this matter without further litigation.”

Previously, Fox had denied Grossberg’s claims and explained her termination by stating, “Like most organizations, Fox News Media’s attorneys engage in privileged communications with our employees to provide legal advice. We made it clear to Ms. Grossberg that, while she was free to file her legal claims, she had privileged information that should not be disclosed publicly. When she disregarded our instructions, we took appropriate action, including termination. We will vigorously defend ourselves against Ms. Grossberg’s baseless claims.”
