The lawsuit also implicated other individuals at the plant, including supervisor Ron Woods, who allegedly physically assaulted Hyneman, and Buck Owens, who made unwelcome advances and subjected Hyneman to difficult work assignments when she refused him. Two co-workers, Torry Burrel and George Fields, were accused of forcibly kissing and exhibiting explicit behavior towards Hyneman.

Hyneman asserted that Ford terminated her in June 2021 as retaliation for speaking out against the sexual misconduct and for refusing to lie during a legal proceeding involving another incident at the plant. The incident involved an altercation between two employees, which resulted in one employee being arrested and charged with aggravated battery. Hyneman claimed that Ford wanted her to testify that she felt uncomfortable working with the employee who was arrested, but she refused to lie. This led to displeasure from her supervisors and eventually her termination.

It is important to note that Hyneman did not file a police report due to advice from her local authorities, who informed her that she needed to submit paperwork with the Chicago Police Department.
