Lamborghini Racing Gone Wrong: Exciting Rev-Up Turns Disastrous for Skilled Drivers

A Lamborghini driver involved in a street race, crashed into an innocent driver, resulting in injuries and the police searching for the other Lamborghini driver. According to KTLA, the incident occurred at approximately 6:30pm local time on Friday in Murrieta, California. The drivers of two Lamborghini Huracans were racing side by side when one of them lost control and collided with a third vehicle in the right lane on a road with a posted speed limit of 45mph.

Both Lamborghinis suffered severe damage, with one being described as “totaled” by KTLA. The driver of the other luxury car fled the scene without checking on the injured drivers. Although the exact speed is unknown, authorities confirm that at least one of the Lamborghinis was speeding. “Due to the debris field and skid marks spanning several feet, it was evident that one of the vehicles was not adhering to the speed limit,” stated the police, as reported by KESQ. “It’s not rocket science.”

The innocent driver involved in the incident sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. However, the Lamborghini driver, identified as “Austin from Colorado,” was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Austin has been arrested and is facing charges of reckless driving and participating in an illegal speed contest. The Murrieta PD is urging any witnesses to come forward. Additionally, considering that the starting price for a Lamborghini Huracan is approximately $212,000, it is hoped that Austin has adequate car insurance coverage. (Read more Lamborghini stories.)
