Lacsina’s Remarkable Performance Shines in F2 Logistics’ Dominant Victory over Farm Fresh

F2 Logistics displayed their versatility and dominance in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference by successfully incorporating Ivy Lacsina in a new position. Lacsina, a seasoned middle blocker, took on the role of an outside hitter and showcased her skills in their commanding victory over the Farm Fresh Foxies. With a score of 25-22, 25-20, 25-23, the Cargo Movers sent a clear message to their opponents.

Despite the adjustment to her new position, Lacsina demonstrated great potential with 12 attacks and one block. F2 Logistics coach Regine Diego expressed her confidence in Lacsina’s abilities, stating that she has the potential to become one of the best outside hitters in the Philippines. While Diego acknowledges that Lacsina still has much to learn, she sees a bright future ahead for the young player.

Lacsina admitted that the transition hasn’t been easy, but she credits her success to the support and trust of her teammates and coaching staff. She expressed gratitude for the belief they have in her abilities, which motivated her to perform well in the game.

In addition to Lacsina’s stellar performance, team captain Aby Maraño contributed significantly to the Cargo Movers’ victory with five kills, three blocks, and two aces, ending the game with 10 points. Both Mars Alba and Jolina dela Cruz, rookies making their PVL debut, made valuable contributions to the team with Alba delivering 14 excellent sets and five points, including two aces, and dela Cruz securing seven points, including the game-winning ace, along with nine receptions.

Looking ahead, F2 Logistics aims to maintain their winning streak in Pool B as they prepare for their upcoming match against the Cignal HD Spikers on Saturday. The team recognizes the need to improve their connections on the court to further enhance their performance.

Although the Farm Fresh Foxies suffered defeat, Gayle Pascual stood out as the sole double-digit scorer with 10 points. Wielyn Estoque and Kate Santiago also made notable contributions with eight and seven points respectively.

Farm Fresh will have the opportunity to bounce back in their next game against Choco Mucho on Thursday.
