According to Park’s office, there are significant concerns regarding the use of rented RVs as housing. These concerns include issues related to illegal dumping, occupation of limited parking spaces in already congested neighborhoods, and potential contributions to crime and fire hazards. Park is urging a collaborative study among various city departments to identify optimal locations for these oversized vehicles while ensuring that RV dwellers have access to essential services such as housing assistance and sanitation facilities.
