“Sister Wives” star Kody Brown has undergone a significant change of heart regarding polygamy. In an interview with People, he stated that he no longer has any interest in pursuing additional wives.
The 54-year-old explained that he finds plural marriage to be extremely challenging and has no desire to attempt it again. However, he still considers himself an advocate for the practice, believing that it offers opportunities for personal growth and self-development.
Kody emphasized that his current legal wife, Robyn, is the only one he intends to share his life with, as he sees no reason to expand his family further.

Kody reflected on the challenges he faced when three of his wives left him within a span of 14 months. He likened it to hitting rock bottom in a deep swimming pool but expressed his determination to rise above those difficult times.
Admitting to moments of emotional messiness, Kody acknowledged the heartbreak his family has experienced. However, he affirmed that they will not revert to their previous state and expressed his desire to approach their new reality with acceptance and love.
Kody remains optimistic that happiness awaits both himself and his family in the future.

The Brown family, known for their reality TV series “Sister Wives,” has faced significant upheaval. In November 2021, Kody and his third wife Christine announced the end of their “spiritual” marriage after more than 25 years together. Following suit, Kody and his second wife Janelle revealed their separation in December 2022, no longer considering themselves “spiritually” married.
In January 2023, Kody and his first wife Meri officially ended their relationship. While their lack of romantic commitment had been public knowledge for years, Meri ultimately chose to leave the family.
The upcoming season of “Sister Wives” will premiere on August 20 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
