She is a dedicated supporter of Called to Rescue, a nonprofit organization that rescues minor children from sex trafficking, violence, and abuse. She also works with the Pawssion Project Foundation, which rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes distressed dogs. These advocacies ground her and provide a sense of purpose that goes beyond her career.
Additionally, Cruz collaborates with Lokal Lab to provide art therapy classes for typhoon victims in Siargao. Through art therapy, she helps children process their traumas and discover joy amidst the hardships they have endured.
