In the latest episode of “The Kardashians” season three, which premiered on Hulu, Khloé offers support to her sister Kim as she grapples with how to respond to Kanye West’s past antisemitic remarks. Khloé reveals her ongoing concern for her exes and their situations.
“Kim, I feel bad about Lamar every single day. Every single day. I feel bad about Tristan not being on a team right now,” Khloé admits. She also acknowledges that Odom’s association with drug use will forever overshadow his other accomplishments.
“That’s his struggle,” Kim responds.
“Exactly,” Khloé agrees. “But these are Kanye’s issues, and that doesn’t mean we can’t empathize. I’m not going through what you’re experiencing right now, but I can relate.”
Khloé and Odom tied the knot in 2009, just one month after their initial meeting. However, the couple faced rumors of Odom’s drug use and infidelity, leading Khloé to file for divorce in 2013. In 2015, Odom was discovered unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel following a near-fatal overdose. Khloé postponed their divorce proceedings to care for him during his recovery, as reported by BuzzFeed News.
Khloé later had two children with Tristan Thompson during their on-again, off-again relationship. However, their most recent split occurred after Thompson admitted to fathering a child with Maralee Nichols.
In 2022, Odom expressed his desire to reconcile with Khloé, stating that he would only need “30 minutes” of her time for a conversation.
“She will always hold a place in my heart,” he told Insider. “During the darkest period of my life, she was there to support me and even helped me when I couldn’t walk or talk. If you can’t comprehend that, then you won’t understand my journey.”
