Masvidal, who retired after a loss to Gilbert Burns at UFC287, expressed his disagreement with Rapinoe’s views and emphasized the physical differences between men and women in terms of strength and bone density. He firmly stated that he would never allow a man to fight a woman in his Gamebred Fighting Championship promotion, unless a woman wanted to compete in the men’s division and proved herself to be the greatest female fighter of all time. Masvidal also mentioned the possibility of transgender athletes competing against each other. Despite his retirement, Masvidal hinted at a potential return to the UFC while speaking to TMZ.
