Jennifer Lawrence has clarified the rumors surrounding her alleged “secret fling” with Liam Hemsworth, her co-star in “The Hunger Games.”
During her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Lawrence was asked by host Andy Cohen about the speculation. The rumors began circulating after Miley Cyrus released her music video for the song “Flowers,” which some interpreted as a reference to Lawrence.
Before Cohen could finish his question, Lawrence quickly denied the rumors, stating that they were untrue. Cohen pressed her for a response, to which Lawrence reaffirmed that it was all just a rumor.

Lawrence also mentioned that she and Hemsworth had only kissed once, years after his breakup with Cyrus. She previously revealed this during another episode of “Watch What Happens Live” in 2015, around the time of the final “Hunger Games” film’s release.
When asked about their on-screen chemistry, Lawrence playfully acknowledged that she and Hemsworth had shared a kiss off-camera, but it was nothing more than that. Cohen expressed his preference for Hemsworth’s character, Gale, over Lawrence’s character, Peeta, to which Lawrence replied that she had also preferred Gale at one point.

Regarding the fashion similarity between Cyrus and Lawrence, the latter remarked that she believed it was purely coincidental. Cyrus had worn a gold vintage Saint Laurent dress that closely resembled the one Lawrence wore at the premiere of the first “Hunger Games” film in 2012.
After setting the record straight, Lawrence turned to the audience and jokingly asked if they were satisfied with her response. She recently discussed her kissing scenes with Hemsworth during an episode of “Hot Ones,” where she revealed that she ate food with strong flavors before their scenes, although it was not intentionally done to bother Hemsworth. She maintained that he should “get over it.”
