Jason Aldean Abruptly Exits Stage During Concert

Country singer Jason Aldean abruptly left the stage during a concert in Connecticut due to heat stroke. The incident took place at Hartford’s Xfinity Theatre, an indoor/outdoor amphitheater, as temperatures reached 89 degrees,
according to CBS News. Aldean, while performing “Crazy Town,” displayed obvious distress, as reported by Fox News. He pulled his head away from the microphone to cough and quickly ran off the stage.

“Yesterday’s Jason Aldean show will be rescheduled for a future date,” announced the venue in a statement. “We appreciate your patience as we work on rescheduling a new date, as well as the outpouring of well wishes for Jason. A representative confirmed that he is now recovering well after experiencing heat stroke during last night’s performance.” In a video shared on Twitter, Aldean himself explained that it was a combination of dehydration and heat exhaustion, resulting from playing golf all day prior to the show. Although he doesn’t believe it was as serious as heat stroke, he described the experience as “pretty intense.”
