After feeling fatigued with the wild surroundings, Jamie Lynn Spears has dropped out of the British reality TV program “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” according to the channel that airs the show, ITV.
Addressing her medical departure, an ITV spokesperson stated, “Jamie Lynn Spears has left ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ on medical grounds. She’s been a fantastic camp mate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities.”
The nature-focused survival show requires celebrities from different generations to live in the rough conditions of the Australian rainforest and each must work for food to avoid elimination based on viewers’ votes.
Jamie Lynn Spears informed her castmates about her decision to leave the show. Her final appearance on “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” aired on Wednesday.
In the previous episode, Spears expressed the increased difficulty of being separated from her family for a long period, and altered between moments of determination and desire to return to her kids.
She also discussed her strained relation with her sister, Britney Spears, during the show.
Remarkably, this marks Spears’ third reality TV departure this year, following her exits from the reality shows “Dancing With the Stars” and “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.”
