Subsequently, the bank offered a deal with better loan rates than what was previously presented to the Trump Organization.
During the testimony, Ivanka Trump was questioned about her work history and involvement in business deals at the Trump Organization, along with a 2011 statement that described her father’s assets. A former Deutsche Bank executive testified that the bank relied on the financial statement to some degree. Ivanka Trump repeatedly emphasized how she couldn’t recall many details from her negotiations related to the loans associated with her father’s business. One email showed that the bank declined to increase a credit line due to Donald Trump’s political exposure. Nonetheless, Ivanka Trump has confirmed she does not remember being involved in those details. The state expects to conclude its case after Ivanka Trump completes her testimony on Thursday, with the Trumps’ lawyers planning to call their witnesses on Nov. 13.
