Israeli military forces launched a targeted operation against Hamas early Wednesday morning inside Gaza’s Al-Shifa hospital, where thousands of Palestinians have sought shelter. Recently, the hospital’s conditions have rapidly deteriorated due to a lack of fuel and ongoing fighting, which has led to a dire situation for patients and staff still inside.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, the operation was aimed at a specific area within the hospital. Although Israeli authorities have claimed that there is no indication of hostages inside the hospital, they have reported ongoing operations inside the facility.

In recent days, more than 100 UN staffers were killed in Gaza, making it the deadliest period in the United Nations’ history. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization has reported numerous attacks on health facilities and civilian shelters. With the situation continuing to deteriorate, there are growing concerns about the well-being of both patients and medical staff.
