Monica joins the cast as a close friend of Angie Katsanevas. Angie herself recently joined the show in season three as a friend of the cast, and she is now a full-time housewife in the upcoming season four.

Monica, of Portuguese-Colombian descent, is an entrepreneur who owns her own baby products business, according to Bravo’s biography.
As stated in her Bravo biography, Monica identifies as an “excommunicated ex-Mormon.”
The teaser provides a glimpse into her story as she converses with cast member Heather Gay, admitting, “I was married in the temple, and then I was excommunicated.”
The biography characterizes Monica as “blunt, opinionated, and unafraid to speak her mind.” She is not hesitant to voice her thoughts, even if it leads to tension among the other women.
In the trailer, we witness Monica’s straightforwardness as she makes several pointed remarks to her wide-eyed fellow cast members. The teaser also suggests that Garcia feels compelled to purchase luxury items in order to fit in with the group.

According to Bravo, this mother of four is currently going through her second divorce. Meanwhile, she is involved in an 18-month relationship with someone she has yet to unveil.
Monica’s biography also mentions her “volatile relationship with her mother,” indicating the complexity of her family dynamics.
A Notable Absence: Jen Shah
This upcoming season will mark the absence of one of the show’s former main stars, Jen Shah.
Jen made headlines in 2021 when she was arrested during the filming of season two. She faced charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
In July 2022, she pleaded guilty to wire fraud and was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison earlier this year.
However, rejoining the cast, this time as a friend, is Mary Cosby, who appeared in the show’s first two seasons.
