In Certain States, Democrats’ Disturbing Abortion Agenda is Already Being Implemented

When it comes to the topic of human life, there are two distinct and opposing visions present in our country.

The pro-life movement, through its extensive network of pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes, has made significant efforts to love, support, and protect women and children. Currently, almost half of the nation has laws in place to protect the lives of unborn babies who have heartbeats or can feel the pain caused by abortion.

The alternative vision, advocated by the abortion industry and activists, seeks to establish a policy of abortion on demand for any reason, even up until the moment of birth.

When asked about supporting any restrictions on abortion, proponents of the pro-abortion vision often evade the question by saying they support a woman’s right to decide with her doctor. However, this response fails to address the fact that a woman and her doctor can choose to terminate a pregnancy for any reason, including gender preferences. In this framework, women who prefer a baby of a specific gender can terminate pregnancies as late as nine months, solely because the unborn child is of the “wrong” sex.

This extreme vision opens the door for the normalization of gruesome late-term abortions and downplays or ignores the trauma experienced by post-abortive mothers. Survivors of botched abortions would be left to suffer alone, cold, and in excruciating pain, as pro-abortion radicals have actively opposed policies that would ensure they receive proper medical care.

In this utopia envisioned by abortion activists, all pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes would be forced to close, despite the invaluable financial and physical support they provide to women and their children. However, this unpopular stance is contradicted by recent polling showing that 91% of Americans support these centers. Additionally, they seek to impose their beliefs on pro-life or ambivalent Americans by requiring them to cover these procedures in their health care plans.

It is a truly horrifying and dystopian vision, but unfortunately, it is already a reality in certain parts of our nation.

Currently, six states and the District of Columbia allow abortion up until birth, while 17 states lack protections for unborn babies capable of feeling pain during dismemberment abortions. Despite this, Democrats and abortion activists argue that these states are not going far enough and demand even more radical policies that do not prioritize the well-being of women or the preservation of children’s lives.

For example, in Maine, there is a proposed bill that would permit abortion at any stage of pregnancy. Supporters claim that late-term abortions would only be allowed if a licensed physician deems them necessary. However, history has shown that such loopholes can be exploited for a wide range of reasons, including “mental,” “emotional,” and even “financial” health.

ABORTION-BY-VENDING-MACHINE IS MUCH WORSE THAN IT SOUNDS

In Maine’s state Senate, a proposed amendment to restrict the trafficking of fetal remains from late-term abortions was blocked.

In Maryland, an “all-trimester” abortion clinic opened last year. Democratic Sen. Ben Cardin openly stated that he does not support any limits on abortion and believes the decision should be left to women.

Furthermore, former Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam shocked the nation with his endorsement of infanticide during an interview. The fact that babies could be killed after birth was unthinkable for many Americans. However, elective up-to-birth abortions are a grim reality. An article in The Atlantic even glamorized the
