A woman from London, Eve Edmunds, has recently shared a ‘life-changing’ hack on TikTok that allows you to create the beloved Starbucks Frappuccino at home. The video quickly went viral, accumulating nearly four million views.

In the video, Eve, holding a bottle of Starbucks Frappuccino, reveals that people have been consuming the beverage incorrectly. According to her, the key is to blend the chilled bottle of Frappuccino to achieve the desired frothy texture. She explains, “If you think about it, this isn’t really a Frappuccino. A Frappuccino is supposed to be frothy and have a lot to it.”

Eve proceeds to demonstrate the correct method. She places large ice cubes in a blender and pours the refrigerated beverage over them. She quickly blends the mixture and pours the frothy drink into a mason glass. Eve is astonished to find that the blended version fills the glass to the top, making it appear just like the barista-made Frappuccinos available at Starbucks. She exclaims, “It’s a frappe! The consistency has completely changed. Did you see how thick it was when it was coming out?”

After tasting the blended Frappuccino, Eve expresses her satisfaction and remarks, “It tastes like a frappe. This is what you get when you go to Starbucks and order a proper frappe.”

Eve concludes the video by informing her followers that they have been consuming the drink incorrectly their whole lives. The bottled Frappuccino can be purchased from various supermarkets for approximately £2.10, significantly cheaper than the barista-made version at Starbucks, which can cost £4.95 for a grande size.

Comments on the video have been pouring in, with some users sharing their own recommendations. One user suggests adding chocolate chips to the blended Frappuccino, known as a Java Chip. Another user recommends freezing the beverage for two hours and shaking it to create a Frappuccino. A third user shares a recipe involving instant coffee, sugar, milk, and ice to achieve a similar taste. Finally, a fourth user speculates that the strong taste is due to consuming the Frappuccino straight from the bottle.

Try this cost-effective hack to enjoy a homemade Starbucks Frappuccino that rivals the store-bought version. With the added bonus of saving money, it’s a win-win!
