The representative also questions the credibility and motives of Shapley and another IRS agent involved in the case. In response, Shapley’s lawyers have dismissed these claims and stated that the Biden family’s attempts to discredit him will not alter the facts.
Shapley’s legal team further alleges that the Biden family lawyers have engaged in harassment and intimidation. They claim that Biden’s lawyers have tried to influence the Justice Department into initiating a criminal inquiry against Shapley as retaliation for his whistleblowing.
