Hollywood Park Entertainment Complex Commences with Inauguration of Luxury Cinema

After nearly three decades, Inglewood is finally getting its own movie theater with the grand opening of a 12-screen Cinépolis multiplex and IMAX at the Hollywood Park shopping and entertainment complex. It will also be the first retailer to open in the vicinity of SoFi Stadium, adding to the excitement.

The Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Inglewood IMAX offers a unique cinema experience with 1,236 seats spread across 55,137 square feet. The concept includes a cocktail lounge with indoor and outdoor seating, equipped with large-screen TVs that can transform the space into a sports bar.

These theaters provide the ultimate luxury with all-leather reclining seats and in-theater dining service. Patrons can conveniently order their food and drinks from their seats at the push of a button. This complex is renowned for being one of the only IMAX theaters globally to offer in-seat dining.

“As we consistently innovate to meet the evolving needs of moviegoers, we are incredibly excited to introduce this special cinema experience to the Inglewood community,” said Luis Olloqui, CEO of Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas, based in Mexico.

Designed to be immersive, our partnership with IMAX brings cutting-edge entertainment together with refined luxury and convenience. This further emphasizes Hollywood Park’s reputation as a world-class sports and entertainment destination for everyone to enjoy,” Olloqui added.

In addition to the exceptional movie experience, the theater features a full bar and kitchen. The menu ranges from snacks like nachos and fried pickles to burgers, sandwiches, pizza, wings, tacos, and an array of Middle Eastern, Southwest, and Asian bowls.

Customers can take advantage of rotating daily discounts, including happy hour discounts, half-price theater tickets every Tuesday, and $6 Bloody Marys and mimosas on Sundays.

“From the beginning, our local community has recognized the importance of having a movie theater at Hollywood Park, and with the opening of Cinépolis, Inglewood will have its first movie theater in nearly 30 years,” said Jason Gannon, managing director of SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park.

“We are excited to welcome the Inglewood and greater Los Angeles community to enjoy Cinépolis’ incredible entertainment experience and be a part of Stan Kroenke’s vision to transform Hollywood Park into a year-round destination,” Gannon added.

The Hollywood Park property, spanning 300 acres south of the Kia Forum and east of Prairie Avenue, is not just home to SoFi Stadium. It also features an 890,000-square-foot retail space, as well as office and park areas. Other notable businesses that have already committed to joining the retail space include Three Weavers Brewery, Iconix Fitness gym, Red Bay Coffee, Grilled Fraiche, Antojitos Martin, and Sky’s Gourmet Tacos.
