The four-story building, known as “1065 Link,” is leased to various state divisions, including the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and the Department of Industrial Relations. Washington, D.C.-based Easterly Government Properties was the buyer. The Class A office building, completed in 1991 and updated in 2020, features a newly renovated lobby and exterior common areas. Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, a partnership consisting of a real estate investment, development, and management firm and a global investment manager.

MCA Realty Sells Washington Industrial Complex for $13.75 Million

MCA Realty, based in Orange, has sold Spectrum Business Park, a six-building industrial complex in Federal Way, Washington, for $13.75 million. The complex, spanning 68,911 square feet and completed in 1978, was fully leased at the time of the sale. MCA Realty purchased the business park in September 2021 and invested around $500,000 in capital improvements, focusing on the buildings’ exteriors, select interiors, and campus landscaping. The buyer, who remains unidentified, acquired the complex as part of a 1031 exchange. MCA Realty stated that this sale was the fifth property sold in its Industrial Growth Fund.
