A customer became infuriated with the service he received while his vehicle underwent repairs and tragically lost his life as a result. According to the Miami Herald, a customer and the owner of an auto shop in Florida were both fatally shot after a dispute regarding inadequate vehicle service that had been performed over two years ago.
This incident took place in 2021 when Eugene Frank Becker, 78, visited Stout’s Automotive in Largo, Florida for repairs on his vehicle. However, as per the police, Becker was dissatisfied with the quality of the work and believed he was overcharged. Strangely, he never voiced his concerns to Stout’s at the time. However, everything changed on September 18, 2023.
Becker was involved in a car accident that resulted in injuries and the total loss of his vehicle. His family stated that he became even more angry, frustrated, and depressed after the accident. These emotions likely reminded him of the unsatisfactory service he had previously received from Stout’s two years ago. Authorities revealed that on September 27, Becker rented a vehicle and drove to Stout’s, allegedly seeking out the owner, Jody Stout.
