Hayden Panettiere pays tribute to her late brother, Jansen Panettiere, on what would have been his 29th birthday.
The “Nashville” star took to Instagram to share a heartfelt photo of her and her brother during their younger years, sitting by a Christmas tree. The two siblings wore smiles of pure joy in the holiday snapshot.
“Happy Birthday, my little brother. I miss you every single day. I will love you forever,” captioned the post by the 34-year-old actress.

Panettiere is still grappling with the loss of her brother, who tragically passed away in February.
A week after Jansen’s untimely passing at the age of 28, the Panettiere family revealed that his cause of death was due to “cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications,” according to a previous statement sent to Fox News Digital.

“Jansen’s heart could be seen in his eyes, and his charm in his brilliant, engaging smile; his soul in his masterful and revealing paintings, and the joy of life in his dry wit,” expressed his family, which includes his well-known older sister, as well as his father and mother, Skip and Lesley.
