Halle Berry Slams Drake for Using Her Image as Single Cover: Uncool Move

Halle Berry slams rapper Drake for unauthorized use of her image for his new single.

In a recent Instagram post, the Academy Award-winning actress expressed her disappointment, stating, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy… even if you’re a woman!”

Berry was reacting to a comment about Drake using a photo of her getting slimed at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards as promotional art for his single “Slime You Out,” featuring SZA. She made it clear that she did not give her permission and expressed her disappointment in Drake’s actions.

In response to another comment, Berry explained why she was upset, even though she doesn’t hold the rights to the photograph. She revealed that Drake had personally reached out to her to ask for permission, and she explicitly told him no. She stated, “Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do! That was the f*** you to me. Not cool. You get it?”

Despite Berry’s objections, Drake has not publicly commented on the cover art, and the image remains on his Instagram feed.

CBS News has reached out to Drake’s representatives for comment.
