Gunman Who Shot Family in Car Sought by Texas Police

A family of five was fired upon in their vehicle by an unknown man while they were parked in Sunnyvale, Texas. The heinous act resulted in the death of a woman, Tyesha Merritt, and left four others injured, including three young children. Police Chief Bill Vegas revealed that the assailant was wearing a mask when he approached the family’s car and opened fire. The attacked family included Merritt’s brother and his three children, who were 8-10 years old. The brother has been released from the hospital, while the children remain hospitalized in stable but critical condition. Investigation into the matter is ongoing, and police are searching for two suspects: a man and a woman who followed the family into a townhome parking lot before carrying out the assault.
