It seems that every week brings more instances of people leveraging their transgender identity to engage in absurd behaviors. In one instance, a teacher demanded that the school accommodate her identity choices, resulting in lowered standards. Meanwhile, in prisons, violent male felons were identifying as women to gain access to women’s correctional facilities, conveniently disregarding the basic rule that rapists should not be housed among women. From swimming to skateboarding, men were claiming to be women, which opened the floodgates. And now, we have another case of a transgender powerlifter. Anne Andres recently set a new Canadian women’s national record at the Canadian Powerlifting Union’s 2023 Western Canadian Championship in Manitoba. Let’s watch as Anne showcases her strength.

Impressive, right? The pink socks definitely confirm her femininity. It seems that in the realm of gender ideology and politics, embracing stereotypes is now celebrated. With Andres lifting over 200 pounds more than the second-place finisher (or possibly 200 kilograms, though I live in a first world country and cannot confirm), she embodies the concept of girl power with the help of her male physique.
Andres expressed her excitement on Instagram, stating, “I secured every masters record, along with two unofficial world master records. Records don’t matter to me; being there with my friends does.” So, apparently records don’t matter, yet she makes sure to mention all the records she achieved. But let’s not dwell on that. I’m sure her fellow lifters adore her. However, those who oppose transgender women competing against cisgender women (those who were assigned female at birth) argue against this practice. Riley Gaines, who has experienced swimming against a competitor with a biological advantage, sums it up.
RILEY GAINES: Andres’s record is a lackluster lift by an average male powerlifter, and the Canadian Powerlifting Union is discriminating against female athletes.
That seems about right. Furthermore, Andres has also been known to mock female bench pressing.
ANNE ANDRES: Why are women’s bench presses so weak? I don’t understand why the standard bench in powerlifting competitions for women is so inadequate.

Even as a woman, Andres just can’t help but engage in mansplaining. Is she a troll or mentally ill? It’s hard to say. Sadly, genuine women are fearful of speaking out for fear of being demonized. As one female lifter noted, many women drop out rather than compete against Andres. Let’s take a moment to acknowledge one of those female lifters. This is what the new misogyny manifests as. Simply declare yourself a woman, and you can publicly humiliate and dominate other women without repercussions. You can behave condescendingly, steal their spotlight, and mansplain at will. If I were to steal women’s trophies and undress in their locker room, I would certainly end up in jail. But if I were to claim a transgender identity, I could undress next to your daughter, and you wouldn’t be able to object. The schools won’t even inform you. And if you express any discontent, you become labeled as a bigot. However, this issue isn’t solely about identity. No one actually cares about being transgender or non-binary; they can identify as a couch for all I care. It’s all about power. People crave power and attention, and if they find a shortcut to obtaining it, they will take it. They will exploit their identity to bypass barriers that should have kept them out of certain domains, whether it’s powerlifting, nuclear power, politics, or even the military.
Allow me to introduce Sarah Ashton-Cirillo, an American transgender woman who enlisted in Ukraine’s armed forces, ultimately becoming their spokesperson. Here are some of her most memorable statements.

I won’t comment on personal opinions about Putin, but that statement is quite unhinged. Perhaps that’s what the lady on the plane witnessed. If only Putin were a vampire, we could send wooden stakes to Ukraine instead of missiles. Moving on, Ashton-Cirillo had something to say about Russians.
SARAH ASHTON-CIRILLO: Do you know what sets us apart from them? Besides fighting under this flag and for freedom on behalf of the people of Ukraine, while the Russians are fighting for tyranny and dictatorship? It’s quite simple: we are human, and they most certainly are not.
While I don’t expect everyone to be well-versed in the history of these countries, it should be noted that many Ukrainians and Russians are closely related. Ukraine was once part of Russia. Can we consider having someone like Ashton-Cirillo as the face of our ally a positive outcome? Does it even matter? Apparently not.
As seen in the aforementioned examples, it seems that all criteria for competence are thrown out the window when individuals with transgender identities are hired. Diversity was meant to provide opportunities for minorities, but instead, identity politics is placing absurd individuals in positions of power within the government. We often hear about the dangers of toxic masculinity, yet somehow, this toxic masculinity disappears the moment a man declares himself a woman, even if that individual is mentally unstable.

To the left, it appears that the solution to challenging masculinity is wearing pink socks and makeup. Real women, on the other hand, have to tolerate such behavior. They have to deal with these absurdities.
