This week, Ramsay demonstrated that attempting to troll him could result in being called an “idiot sandwich.”

It all started with Ramsay’s TikTok video showcasing his steak sandwich creation.

“No Idiot Sandwiches with this #recipe,” he wrote in the caption. “My delicious #Steak #Sandwich is perfect for summer!”

The video, which was posted on June 24 and has garnered nearly 70 million views, shows Ramsay pounding his steak with a rolling pin, toasting bread slices, cooking the steak with rosemary, garlic, butter, and onion, and creating a mayo-based spread while the onions continue to cook. Ramsay then assembles the sandwich, topping it off with arugula, more onion, and the second slice of toasted bread.

The TikTok video received numerous comments from fans, many of whom playfully teased Ramsay’s cooking abilities.

“This guy should try cooking, he’s good at it,” one person wrote.

“Did you ever consider going into the cooking industry? You would make an excellent chef!” added another.

However, one commenter was not impressed and had several criticisms for the esteemed chef.

“Too much butter. Wrong pan used. Didn’t cook the steak well enough. Poor choice of toppings. You should also never smack a steak like that,” they wrote.

Ramsay noticed the comment and delivered a perfect clapback, simply responding with, “Okay Gordon Ramsay.”

Ramsay shared a TikTok video of his response, which has since garnered over 7.7 million views.
