These standard tickets do not include any additional perks like luxurious glamping accommodation. To put things into perspective, the best seats at London’s prestigious Covent Garden for a night of top-rank Italian opera cost £100 less than a Glastonbury ticket. For instance, a top-priced ticket to see Verdi’s La Forza Del Destino at the renowned Royal Opera House costs £245. Similarly, a season ticket to watch a major football club like Arsenal ranges between £973 and £1,895.
The increase in price, announced by Glastonbury’s co-organiser Emily Eavis, represents a substantial £75 rise compared to last year. Fans can also purchase coach travel packages starting from 2 November, followed by standard tickets three days later by paying an initial deposit of £75.
