Batman: Arkham Knight receives an update next month featuring the suit donned by Robert Pattinson in the 2022 film The Batman. Set to launch on December 15, 2023, the suit will debut in the new Nintendo Switch version of Batman: Arkham Trilogy before becoming available as a free download to PS4 players and PS5 owners using backwards compatibility.
The inclusion of The Batman suit increases the number of alternate costumes in Batman Knight to 24. However, some PC players had early access to this latest suit through an unintended update to the version on the Epic Games Store. It will be officially available to all players a few months later.
Originally released in June 2015, the PS4 game marked the conclusion of the Batman: Arkham trilogy and received an 8/10 rating in our Batman: Arkham Knight PS4 review. “It’s a superb game that plays brilliantly and certainly stands out in the Arkham lineup. However, it falls short of leaving the same lasting impression as Arkham City,” our review stated.
Now, eight years later, developer Rocksteady is gearing up to release its next game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
