George Soros persists in advocating drug decriminalization despite its detrimental effects

Is George Soros advocating for the death of Americans?

It’s difficult to find another reason for why Soros’ Open Society Foundation is funding a think tank that is pushing for the absurd Drug Policy Reform Act.

This bill aims to eliminate federal criminal penalties for possession of hard drugs like heroin and cocaine, along with other disastrous measures.

The Drug Policy Alliance, which has received millions of dollars from the Open Society Foundation, is leading the charge on this destructive attack on American society.

The Alliance played a pivotal role in shaping the bill, which has gained support from Representatives Cori Bush, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib.

All this is happening as America’s overdose crisis reaches unprecedented levels.

In 2021 alone, overdoses claimed the lives of over 106,000 Americans, while the Drug Policy Alliance was advocating for federal decriminalization.

The annual toll has likely worsened due to the influx of fentanyl across our southern border and the emergence of new deadly substances like tranq.

(Soros is partly responsible for that as well, as his funding supports organizations fighting to keep our border open.)

Cities across the country are now grappling with the consequences of their failed experiments with decriminalization.

Take Oregon, for example. Progressives passed Measure 110 in 2020, decriminalizing drug possession, but it resulted in an increase in crime and homelessness, making Oregon a leader in prescription opioid and meth abuse.

Now, many Oregon progressives are calling for the reversal of this measure.

San Francisco also relaxed drug prosecution, effectively leading to de facto decriminalization, and the result has been a humanitarian catastrophe.

Even Portugal, once seen as a pioneer in this approach, is rethinking its strategy as addiction rates and crime continue to rise.

It’s not difficult to understand: cocaine, heroin, and synthetic opioids are deadly.

Policies that remove consequences for their possession and use only enable dealers and self-destructive addicts, and ultimately lead to more devastation.

Activists like Soros and those who support these policies have blood on their hands.
