No. 4 Florida State Faces Setback at Clemson: Injury Sidelines Two Key Starters
Breaking news from sources revealed that the highly ranked No. 4 Florida State football team will be without two key starters when they face off against Clemson this Saturday. Left tackle Robert Scott Jr. and safety Akeem Dent have succumbed to injuries and will miss the game, according to ESPN.
The Seminoles, however, received some relief as center Maurice Smith was cleared to play. Smith, who had been out due to a lower-body injury, is set to rejoin the team and start in the game, according to the same source.
The odds may seem challenging for Florida State, as they have suffered seven consecutive losses in their matchups against Clemson. Nevertheless, they remain optimistic and determined to turn the tide in their favor.
Scott, a seasoned starting tackle for Florida State, has been a key player for the team for four seasons. His exceptional performance last year as a left tackle earned him second-team All-ACC honors.
