Fortnite gamers criticize Epic Games for removing Solid Snake’s cake in controversial move


Fortnite fans express discontent over the game’s portrayal of Solid Snake, labeling Epic Games “cowards” for altering a specific physical characteristic.

Chapter 5 Season 1 of Fortnite has arrived, causing a stir due to server problems, yet fans are eager to join the new season.

The launch of Chapter 5 Season 1 introduced various new cosmetic items, including the ‘gigachad’ Peter Griffin skin, a LEGO mode, and the anticipated appearance of Konami’s Solid Snake.

However, some fans are unhappy with the portrayal of the iconic character by Epic Games, accusing the developer of flattening his buttocks without reason.

Fortnite players unimpressed with Solid Snake’s lack of ‘cake’

Even though Solid Snake’s Fortnite skin is currently unavailable, it is part of the Chapter 5 Season 1 battle pass.

Therefore, players had a chance to get a glimpse of the fictional spy before his official release. Fans noticed something lacking about his Fortnite representation.

One Fortnite fan on X wrote, “EPIC GAMES ARE COWARDS,” and attached a screenshot of Solid Snake facing away from the camera. They also included a comparison of Omni-Man, who also caused a stir among fans for his flat derriere.

“I’m immeasurably disappointed,” one player said in reaction to the news, while another said, “Wow they nerfed Snake more than Smash Brothers did.”

The latter tweet referencing Snake’s representation in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which notably reduced his features compared to his debut in Brawl.

Other fans also noticed Snake’s lacking physique and made similar jokes online. “OTACON THEY TOOK MY A** I CAN’T SHIT,” another fan joked.

While many fans may be disappointed at Snake’s lack of features in Fortnite, it’s still great to see Konomi’s star make his way to the massively popular battle royale.
