Former Prosecutor Issues Dire Warning to President Trump Regarding Jack Smith

Glenn Kirschner recently commented on the ongoing investigation by special counsel Jack Smith into former President Donald Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents. Kirschner, a former U.S. Army prosecutor and legal analyst for MSNBC, believes that there is still much more investigating to be done.

When asked about a New York Times report stating that Smith’s probe is still ongoing even after Trump’s indictment, Kirschner stated that it seems like Smith is just getting started. He suggests that Smith is determined to investigate all potential crimes related to Trump, not only by Trump himself but also by anyone at Mar-a-Lago or in Florida who may have been involved or covering up the crimes.

Kirschner further explained that in large-scale investigations, it is common to obtain an initial indictment with a limited number of charges and defendants and then continue to investigate the possibility of additional crimes. This could result in a subsequent indictment with additional charges and defendants.

It should be noted that Trump is also under investigation for his role in the January 6 insurrection and for attempting to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. Additionally, he is facing trial in the Stormy Daniels hush money case in 2024.

Overall, it seems that Smith’s investigation into Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents is far from over. There may be more charges and defendants to come as the probe continues.
