Former Co-Workers Visited by Escaped Murderer: Shocking Reunion Unraveled

In a bizarre turn of events, escaped murderer Danelo Cavalcante made unexpected visits to the homes of two former colleagues on Saturday night, according to police sources. Cavalcante, who fled Pennsylvania’s Chester County Prison on August 31, initially arrived at the residence of a former coworker in East Pikeland Township, but found the person absent, as reported by AP. Shortly after 10pm, he then proceeded to the Phoenixville home of another former co-worker, but met the same fate. Doorbell videos captured Cavalcante’s changed appearance at these locations, shedding light on his audacious actions.

It appears that Cavalcante managed to reach this area, which is more than 20 miles away from the original search zone, by stealing an unlocked delivery van with its keys left inside at Baily’s Dairy. The dairy is located approximately three-quarters of a mile outside the northern perimeter of the initial search area. Given the presence of underground tunnels and drainage ditches in the vicinity, law enforcement conceded the impossibility of fully securing the original search perimeter. By Sunday morning, the van had been abandoned in a field around 15 miles west of Phoenixville. Authorities issued a warning, predicting Cavalcante’s intent to steal another vehicle, as reported by CNN. Local residents were urged to take precautions and ensure the safety of their homes and vehicles. Meanwhile, the prison guard on duty during Cavalcante’s escape, who apparently failed to notice the incident, has been terminated from their position. (Read more Pennsylvania stories.)
