A popular granola product, sold in major retailers such as Tesco, Waitrose, and Ocado, has been recalled due to concerns that it may contain stones.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a warning against consuming Rude Health’s low sugar almond and hazelnut granola, as it may pose a choking hazard and cause harm if bitten.
Rude Health has voluntarily recalled three batches of the granola with best before dates of April 17, May 11, and June 12, 2024. No other products from the company are affected.
The granola, marketed as plant-based and containing only 2g of sugar per serving, has gained popularity for its use of natural ingredients and absence of artificial additives.
Customers who have purchased the affected granola, identifiable by its blue packaging, are advised to return it to the store for a full refund.
