He also claimed that global studies showed an increased likelihood of COVID infection among those who had received boosters. Although DeSantis did not provide a specific opinion on the booster, he criticized the FDA and CDC, accusing them of corruption and acting as an arm of Big Pharma.
This warning from Surgeon General Ladapo echoes his previous concerns about older versions of the COVID-19 vaccines. The FDA and CDC responded harshly to Ladapo’s warnings earlier this year, accusing him of fueling vaccine hesitancy.
