They will be joined by former Vice President Mike Pence, former ambassador and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina in the fifth and sixth positions.

Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum will also be present on the wings of the debate stage.
The Republican National Committee’s release from early June noted that candidates would be placed on stage according to polling, with the highest polling candidate in the center.
The first Republican presidential debate, hosted by Fox News, will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
