Week 10 of the NFL kicked off with a thrilling match between the Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers, resulting in a close 16-13 victory for the Bears. This win also improved the Bears’ chances of earning the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, as they own Carolina’s first-round pick.
As for weekend injury news, the Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up to face C.J. Stroud, who recently delivered a phenomenal five-touchdown performance in a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
However, the Bengals are facing some injury setbacks, with Tee Higgins ruled out due to a hamstring injury, and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase listed as questionable, despite practicing through a back injury.
“In my head, I said I’m playing until further notice, then we’ll see,” Chase said.
On the matter of wide receiver injuries, the Minnesota Vikings were hopeful of Justin Jefferson’s return, but he was ultimately ruled out due to a lingering hamstring injury.
Regarding his absence, Jefferson stated, “The guys and the rest of the coaching staff in this building know my worth on the field and they want me at 100%, as I do as well. I don’t want to go out there at 80 or 90% and have the chance of hurting it again. It’s just day-to-day, and when that time comes, I’ll definitely be ready to step out there.”
