Experience the Vibrant Palm Springs Parade Season: Get Ready for the Festive Unveiling!

Palm Springs’ parade season began with a bang on Wednesday as the Homecoming Parade took place with a glittering “Viva Las Vegas” theme.

Kicking off at 3:30 p.m., the parade showcased the Palm Springs High School football team and their marching band, wowing spectators along Palm Canyon Drive from Barsito to Amado roads.

Don’t miss the annual homecoming game on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Ralph Watt Stadium. The Palm Springs football team will be taking on Xavier College Prep High School!

Mayor Grace Garner, a proud Palm Springs native and alumni of the high school, led the parade as its grand marshal, as confirmed by city spokeswoman Amy Blaisdell. The parade also included Palm Springs city council members and Palm Springs Unified School District board members.

Keep the parade spirit alive on November 5 with the 37th annual Greater Palm Springs Pride Parade. The parade will start at 10 a.m. along Palm Canyon Drive, from Tachevah to Amado Road, according to Blaisdell. Don’t forget to check out the Palm Springs Pride Festival from November 3-5!

On November 11 at 3:30pm, be sure to attend the 26th annual City of Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade, which will course through Palm Canyon Drive, concluding at Amado Road. Stick around for a patriotic concert and an epic fireworks finale!

Wrapping up the parade season, the 31st annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade will light up Palm Canyon Drive on December 2 at 5:45 p.m. The parade will feature twinkling lights, spectacular marching bands, Macy’s-style holiday floats, and, of course, Santa Claus!
