Experience the Enchanting 2023 Arrival of The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind Christmas tree experience in the Big Apple! 🎄✨

Rockefeller Center has just announced that the highly anticipated Christmas tree for this year has been selected from Vestal, a charming town in upstate New York. Standing tall at 80 feet and measuring 43 feet wide, this majestic 80 to 85-year-old Norway spruce weighs an incredible 12 tons.

The honor of hand-picking the Christmas tree each year goes to Erik Pauze, the head gardener at Rockefeller Center. His job entails finding, enhancing, and transporting the tree to its rightful spot in the heart of midtown Manhattan. It’s like being Santa Claus in real life! When Pauze saw the magnificent spruce in the McGinley family’s yard, he knew he had discovered the ideal tree for 2023.

Pauze explained his selection process, saying, “I look for a tree that embodies the beauty and allure you’d want in your own living room, but on a grander scale. It needs to have that perfect, symmetrical shape from every angle.” He shared this insight with The Center Magazine, adding, “Most importantly, it should bring boundless joy to the children who turn the corner to behold it at Rockefeller Center. It needs to evoke that feeling of pure happiness.”

Mark your calendars! The tree is set to arrive in New York City on November 11, where it will be meticulously adorned with 50,000 multi-colored LED lights and a dazzling Swarovski star. Prepare to be enchanted by the grand reveal, planned for later in the month.
