Kia launched its latest addition to the Carens lineup, the exclusive X-Line trim, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. With a base price of 18.94 lakh, the new variant of Kia Carens offers two options: Petrol 7DCT and Diesel 6AT. Both variants are configured as 6 seaters, with price tags of Rs 18,94,900 and Rs 19,44,900, respectively.
This positions it approximately Rs 54,000 higher than its equivalent Luxury Plus counterparts.
Kia Carens X-Line: Exterior
It boasts a sleek exterior in the exclusive ‘Xclusive Matte Graphite’ paint, and inside, it showcases the ‘Xclusive Two-Tone Black and Splendid Sage Green’ theme, complete with contrasting orange stitching on seats, armrests, steering wheel, and gear lever cover.
Kia Carens X-Line: Feature
One standout feature of the X-Line models is the rear-seat entertainment package, which offers access to podcasts, screen mirroring, and a range of entertainment and news apps. Kia emphasizes that this rear seat screen can also be controlled through a smartphone app. Building upon the features found in the range-topping Luxury Plus trim, X-Line promises to deliver an even more premium experience.
Kia Carens X-Line: Engine
Under the hood, Carens X-Line is available with two engine options: the 1.5-litre, 158 bhp turbo-petrol, and the 1.5-litre, 114 bhp diesel engine. It’s worth noting that transmission options are fixed for each variant – Carens X-Line turbo-petrol comes exclusively with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while Carens X-Line diesel is equipped solely with the six-speed automatic transmission.
