Doug Burgum was deemed the worst performer by 11% of voters, and 10% felt the same about Ramaswamy.
Despite the debate, support for the various candidates remained relatively unchanged. DeSantis saw a slight increase in support from 51.0% to 51.9%, Haley’s support went from 34.0% to 36.4%, and Scott’s increased from 24.7% to 26.5%. Ramaswamy and Pence also experienced minor shifts in support, with Ramaswamy going from 27.2% to 28.1% and Pence going from 23.4% to 24.2%. Former President Donald Trump’s support remained stable, going from 63.8% to 63.9%.
The poll also asked likely Republican primary voters to identify the most important issues influencing their primary vote. “Getting inflation or increased costs under control” ranked highest, with 55% of voters prioritizing it. “Controlling immigration” was listed as a priority by 40% of voters, and “Ability to beat Joe Biden” was important to 24% of voters.
