Exclusive Last-minute Deals Unveiled for Ireland’s Rugby World Cup Quarter-Final – Limited Time Only!

Looking for a budget-friendly way to get to the Ireland vs. All Blacks rugby match in Paris? Well, you’re in luck! The ferry company is offering a special fare of €299 return for a car and up to four people traveling on its Rosslare to Cherbourg route. Just use the code QFCAR when booking. If you’re traveling without a car, you can still take advantage of this deal as four foot passengers can avail of the offer for €199 return by using the code QFFOOT. But hurry, this offer is only valid for departures this Thursday and Friday (October 12 or 13), combined with return sailings from Cherbourg next Monday or Tuesday (October 16 or 17).

Please note that the price does not include a cabin. However, for an additional €50 each way, you can upgrade from seats to an entry-level cabin sleeping four. This brings the total cost to €399 for the car package or €99.75 per person. Keep in mind that supplements are also applicable for larger cars or motorhomes. Unfortunately, Tesco Club Card points cannot be used with this offer.

While Irish Ferries sailings are quoting from €581 for four passengers and a car on similar dates, and Brittany Ferries’ service from Cork to Roscoff is not available during this time, flights are even more expensive. For example, Ryanair’s basic fares from Dublin Airport to Paris Beauvais are quoting from €413 per person, and that’s before adding bags or seat selection. Ryanair may have added 1,500 extra seats in response to “phenomenal demand,” but the prices are still high. Aer Lingus flights from Dublin start from €762 per person for the same dates, and its flights from Cork and Shannon on Friday and Saturday, respectively, have already sold out.

Before making your decision, consider the travel times. While the flight is shorter, the ferry journey from Rosslare to Cherbourg takes 17-18 hours, followed by a three to four-hour onwards connection to Paris by car or train. The ferry departs at 5pm on Thursday and arrives in France at 12 noon the following day. The larger and more comfortable ferry operates the Friday sailing, with a similar departure and arrival times. But wait, there’s more! If Ireland beats the All Blacks and proceeds to a semi-final, Stena Line has similar special fares the following week. Just use the codes SFCAR or SFFOOT when booking.

So, what are you waiting for? Book your ferry tickets now and show your support for Ireland at the rugby match in Paris!
