The all-electric 2025 Volvo EX30 is the latest addition to Volvo’s electric vehicle lineup, starting at $53,700 for the base model. This small SUV is the smallest-ever produced by the Swedish automaker and joins the C40 Recharge, XC40 Recharge, and XC90. Volvo has committed to exclusively producing electric vehicles by 2030.

Volvo announces 2025 Volvo EX30 Canadian pricing
The starting price of the 2025 Volvo EX30 in Canada will be $53,700. This price is for the single motor, rear-wheel drive base model with extended range. The Plus trim starts at $56,900 and the Ultra trim starts at $59,100. The single motor, extended range models can travel up to 442 kilometers and have 268 horsepower, 253 lb-ft of torque, and can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
The Twin Motor Performance model starts at $59,900 for the Plus trim and $62,100 for the Ultra trim. This all-wheel drive variant is the fastest Volvo ever produced, with a zero to 100 km/h time of 3.6 seconds.
Standard features on all EX30 models include Google built-in, native Google Maps and Google Assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay, heated steering wheel and front seats, and advanced safety features including a Driver Alert System with Blind Spot Information System.
The Plus package adds Harman Kardon Premium Sound, a panoramic roof, 19-inch wheels, and a dual tone roof in Onyx Black. The Ultra package includes the next generation of Pilot Assist with Lane Change Assistance, 360o Camera with 3D view, and Park Pilot Assist.
There are five exterior colors to choose from – Moss Yellow, Cloud Blue, Vapour Grey, Crystal White, or Onyx Black — and four interior designs, Mist, Pine, Indigo, and Breeze.
The 2025 Volvo EX30 is designed to be the most sustainably built vehicle by Volvo, with a carbon footprint of less than 30 tonnes over 200,000 kilometers of driving. Volvo aims to reduce its overall per-car CO2 emissions by 40% by 2025, compared to 2018 levels.

Power output for the EX30 is 422 horsepower, with 211 horsepower from each axle-mounted motor. The EPA estimated range is 426.5 kilometers.
