After the successful launch of the Slavia Matte Edition by Skoda, Volkswagen has introduced the Virtus Matte Edition. This limited collection model boasts similar interior upgrades and features as the top-end trims of the Slavia and Kushaq. In addition to this, Volkswagen has also announced the Volksfest 2023, which will be celebrated across its 189 sales and 133 service touchpoints.
Introducing the Volkswagen Virtus Matte Edition
The Volkswagen Virtus Matte Edition was unveiled in April 2023 as part of the GT Edge limited collection. Unlike Skoda’s Slavia Matte Edition, which offers both 1.0L and 1.5L engine options, the Virtus Matte Edition is exclusively available with the GT Plus trim and offers a powerful 1.5L turbo petrol engine.
The prices for the VW Virtus Matte Edition, based on the GT Plus trim in Carbon Steel Grey Matte shade, start at Rs. 17,61,900 for the manual 6-speed variant and go up to Rs. 19,28,900 for the automatic 7-speed DSG variants (both prices ex-showroom). The GT Plus trim variants also come with electrically adjustable front seats as standard, which are optional in the regular Topline and GT Plus trims as well as the GT Plus Deep Black Pearl shade variants.
Exciting New Features for Virtus and Taigun
In addition to the electrically adjustable front seats, Volkswagen now offers footwell illumination as a standard feature for both the Virtus and Taigun. This feature is available in the Topline and GT Plus trims. Furthermore, Volkswagen has enhanced the in-cabin audio experience by adding a subwoofer and amplifier, exclusive to the GT Plus trim. These feature upgrades are in line with what Skoda has offered for the Kushaq and Slavia models.
