Jason Momoa is set to take on hosting duties for the upcoming episode of “Saturday Night Live” on Nov. 18, with rising star Tate McRae confirmed as the musical guest.
Momoa, who will be hosting for the second time, will be joined by McRae, who will be making her debut on “SNL” following the Nov. 11 pairing of Gen Z favorites Timothée Chalamet and Boygenius. Chalamet had previously hosted in 2020, where he showcased his love for New York City and even rapped alongside Pete Davidson.
Prior to Chalamet and Boygenius, Nate Bargatze hosted the third episode of Season 49 with musical guest Foo Fighters. Bargatze’s episode also included a moment of silence to honor the late actor Matthew Perry. One particularly memorable sketch from Bargatze’s episode poked fun at America’s quirks, including its rejection of the metric system and unconventional football rules.
The newest season kicked off with Pete Davidson returning to host, joined by musical guest Ice Spice. The episode included a self-deprecating parody by Davidson, with surprise guest appearances from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
In the second episode, Pedro Pascal made a surprise appearance alongside host and performer Bad Bunny, with cameos from Lady Gaga and Mick Jagger adding to the star-studded episode.
